Dandelion and More Exciting Pixie News!

I am so excited to finally be able to show you guys this little pixie!
She's the first doll I've made with removable clothing.
Sounds silly, but I can draft a doll or plushie pattern without a single issue, but clothes? I'm totally lost.
I think I spent two weeks just making and remaking the same dress over and over until I was satisfied. I'm still not anywhere NEAR up to par with some of the amazing doll clothing makers out there, but I'm so happy I can send these little pixies out in something!

Anyway, this is Dandelion!

Like my last little pixie, she's just five inches tall.

She's wired so she can hold some poses!
She can't stand, but her full dress allows her to sit pretty easily on her own.

After I finally got her dress to a point that I was happy with it, she insisted she needed a pair of panties. She's not indecent, after all! (Which is funny since she seems to prefer running around in only her  panties once I made them.)

And her fluffy dress was just begging to have a tutu to go underneath it!
She seems to like running around in just her tutu and panties also.
These pixies can be quite a handful.

Dandelion and her full outfit are available in the shop!

And for more exciting tiny pixie news...My lovely friend Peggy was so sweet and created a pdf pattern and photo tutorial to make a wig, dress, and shoes for my little pixies!!
Remember the little bald and naked pixie I made?
This is what Peggy did with her!

Doesn't she look fantastic?
All of the tiny pixies will come with this great pattern for no extra charge! (And did I mention that cute little felt dress is NO SEW!? How cool is that?)
Be sure to visit Peggy's shop and check out all of her other patterns she has for sale (especially if you like to crochet!). https://www.etsy.com/shop/peggytoes

Because she was so nice to offer this pattern to us, I'll be selling my pixies two ways from now on:
As a full set like Dandelion, or nude and bald (at a lesser cost) so that you can fix her up yourself!
I have not decided if I'll be creating etsy listings for the nakie pixies, or if I'll just take them as custom orders only (that way you get to also give me an idea of the way you want the face painted)...so if you're interested in ordering one, message me in the shop or on Facebook.

Anyway, I'm back to work on my next doll. I am seriously excited about this one. I drew her in my sketchbook over a year ago and have been dying to make her ever since. The new tiny pixie design gave me the perfect excuse to finally get around to working on her. I love her so much already, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to let her go!

Little Green Guy

Ever heard of Little Green Guy?
If so, you'll recognize this little fellow:

I created the Little Green Guy fluff just for Brittany to celebrate my monsters and dolls being sold in her awesome shop!

If you live anywhere near Wyandotte, MI (lucky you!) then stop by and say hello to these fluffs for me!

Marnie also decided she'd had quite enough of me, and requested to go visit the LGG shop too.

Even if you don't live in MI, go check out Little Green Guy's site here or visit her on Facebook here!

Oh! And speaking of Facebook, how'd you like a chance to adopt a Pocket Fluff for $1??
And not just ANY Pocket Fluff...you get to adopt this handsome guy:

Hop on over to my Facebook page to find out how!

Custom Pocket Fluffs, an Anniversary, and Meet Doodle!

Whew, lots to share this week!

First, here's the Pocket Fluffs this week!
Some were custom orders, and some were listed in the shop, but all have moved onto new homes now!

This custom pair isn't quite finished yet (and I'll take better pics when they are), but I couldn't wait to share their progress! They are a bride and groom created to celebrate a wedding next year!
I couldn't wait to share them because yesterday (April 12th) was my 5 year wedding anniversary. :)

My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating yesterday. The best part though? He surprised me with a weekend trip! We're leaving almost as soon as I finish this blog post!
I'm so looking forward to just relaxing for a couple of days. I'm bringing my sketchbook along, but I've been told no sewing is allowed. So no monster progress until Tuesday. :)

This last little one has a bit of a funny story.
I've been wanting a Pocket Fluff of my own ever since I made the first one.
I've been waiting for one to tell me that he's the fluff for me, but had no luck so far.
So I decided since this was my anniversary week, I would take matters into my own hands and just make one for myself.
I picked my very favorite fur and made this cuddly little Pocket Fluff:

Isn't that rainbow fur gorgeous??

I had one Pocket Fluff left from the last shop update and I kept thinking I really loved his face, so I made a similar one for her.
Unfortunately, when I finished her I realized she wasn't the one I've been looking for.
(She was listed in the shop and adopted pretty much right away, by the way. I can't wait to make more from this fur!)

Anyway, the funny part of this story...Remember this guy?

He was the last Pocket Fluff in the shop. He sat all week on my desk staring at me as his other pals headed off to new homes. As soon as I finished the rainbow fluff, this little guy told me he'd been meant for me all along.

So I'm happy to introduce you to Doodle, the official Pocket Fluff of Scribble Dolls.
He and I have big plans (okay, maybe not THAT big....but when you're the size of a Pocket Fluff, most plans are big).

I will be creating an album on facebook and a photo set on flickr titled "The Adventures of Doodle Fluff." On slow days, I'll share what Doodle has been up to lately! I think it'll be fun, don't you??
(And yes, Doodle is coming along for the trip this weekend!)

When I get back on Tuesday, I'll be back to work on my list of customs (one doll and a bunch of Pocket Fluffs!).

Pocket Fluffs!

If you follow me on Facebook, you will have already seen this guy...
I've been slow about writing out his blog post.
(Actually, I've just been terribly busy!)

Introducing the Pocket Fluff Monster!

This little guy is the perfect travel companion for anyone that's ever wanted their own pet monster.

He's just a bitty guy...about 4.5 inches tall and 3 inches wide.

I'd tell you he's in the shop, but he sold within minutes!
He's already having lots of fun in his new home!

My son helped me out with the photo shoot...and I just had to share what a wonderful monster groomer he is.

Plus, this gives you an idea of just how little these guys are!

I'm SO thrilled by the positive response I've received for these little guys!
(Eight on the waiting list already!)
I've ordered a whole bunch of new fur colors, so don't worry, there will be many more in the near future.

Anyway, back to work on the next two custom dolls! I'll be back soon to share them with you!

Introducing Samantha!

Just finished this cute little custom order!
She's my very first doll with bangs. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. :)

This is Samantha!

Samantha's favorite thing to do is play house.

She doesn't even mind doing chores!
(She claims it makes her feel like Cinderella.)

Isn't her hair a pretty color? Jess over at Tat-ilicious dyed it for me...because she's awesome. :)

My next project is a custom Muse doll. I haven't made one since August (love making them...they just take me forever to finish). She's already coming along though so hopefully I can share her with you soon.

Oh! Guess what! I just reached 100 likers over on Facebook! (Actually, 110 now!) I feel SO loved.
I plan on having a giveaway to celebrate. I'll share the details once I decide what to make for it!

Meet Kassie and Commission Info!

I told you guys I was working on several custom dolls right now.
Well, the first one is finished!

Meet Kassie!

Kassie likes getting dressed up and all,
but what she really prefers is a good adventure outside.

She also wants to be very clear that her name is Kassie with a "K."
Apparently, this is a very important matter to her.

I've decided to finally officially open a waiting list for my custom dolls and plushies.
I'm a stay at home mom with two very little kids, so I can only handle a limited amount of orders at a time.
I decided that a waiting list was the best solution for everyone.
You can put your name on the list by contacting me in any of my various locations- etsyfacebook, or email -scribbledollz AT gmail DOT com (that's the fancy way of writing it to help keep the robots away, hehe).
I'll let you know how many people are in front of you, then contact you when its your turn!

(As I'm writing this, there are currently five dolls on the list to be made. Can you believe that? I'm super excited!)
